JinkoSolar is delivering a 15MWh SunGiga C&I Energy storage system combined with 5.7MW of its N-type panels to GRAND WORKS INC Japan. Their commissioning demonstrates that JinkoSolar’s PV+ESS solutions satisfy the highest standard of system safety and efficiency.

The SunGiga is based on the LFP battery technology and features a unique liquid cooling system. Each battery cell in this system has a very long cycle life and is capable of maintaining temperature difference among cells less than 2.5 Celsius degree (the industry's lowest level), therefore greatly enhancing the detonationrate and prolonging the service life of the entire system. Hence, JinkoSolar provides SunGiga with the advantages of a long service life, a high degree of integration, and a high degree of safety.

SunGiga has a nominal capacity range of 250-2000kWh and supports 2 to 4 hours of application. Moreover, SunGiga is a complete system unit including long-life LFP cell, PCS, BMS, EMS, and multiple fire suppression systems. It can be transported to a project site more quickly and conveniently. This, in turn, significantly cuts installation costs and commissioning time.

The C&I projects combining both JinkoSolar’s N-type PV and liquid cooling energy storage systems offers great potential to improve energy self-sufficiency, reduce the electricity fees of enterprises, and ensure stable power supply.
